Angel Horse Rescue, Inc. is a non profit organization located in Northeast Oklahoma dedicated to providing rescue, rehabilitation and adoption services for abused, neglected and abandoned equines as well as horses at risk of slaughter for human consumption overseas.  We are not able to investigate or prosecute cruelty cases and we have no authority to seize animals, nor are we a government funded shelter or pound.  Please direct calls regarding stray animals and suspected cruelty, abuse and/or neglect to the proper authorities.   Please feel free to browse our website, read the horse's stories and follow their progress.  We are a 100% volunteer run organization and all funds go directly for the benefit, care and feeding of the horses and all donations are tax deductible to the donor. 

PLEASE NOTE: Visitors are welcome at the rescue, however the rescue horses are located on private property and we do ask that you call and make an appointment so that a volunteer will be available to meet you.
