A huge THANK YOU to Thoroughbred Charities of America! Angel Horse Rescue, Inc. is the recipient of a 2010 grant from TCA which will enable us to purchase corral panels to construct a round pen for working with the rescue horses as well as adding much needed feeding pens to our large pasture areas. Thoroughbred Charities of America is a wonderful organization dedicated to the welfare of Thoroughbred horses during and after their racing careers and Angel Horse Rescue is honored and grateful to participate in that mission. The vast majority of the horses that arrive at the rescue are in need of immediate veterinary care. One of our largest expenses here at the rescue is the cost of medical treatment and medications required by injured horses that were denied basic vet care by their previous owners and those horses suffering from prolonged neglect and the affects of starvation and malnutrition. In addition, we have the cost of basic hoof care, vaccinations and other regular health care provided to all our residents that is necessary for their well being. We appreciate each and every donation, no amount is too small. Every single $1 counts, and added together, they can and do make all the difference in the world to these horses.

Angel Horse Rescue, Inc. is a non profit organization located in Northeast Oklahoma dedicated to providing rescue, rehabilitation and adoption services for abused, neglected and abandoned equines as well as horses at risk of slaughter for human consumption overseas. We are a 100% volunteer run organization and all funds go directly for the benefit, care and feeding of the horses and all donations are tax deductible to the donor.
