APRIL 2009  Batman arrived at our rescue as an owner surrender.  His previous owner was no longer able to provide care for him and wanted to be sure he found a good home.   Batman's hooves need trimmed and he needs his vaccinations, but he is otherwise in fairly good health.  He has a cut which has split one nostril, but it appears to be healing well.  Once his hooves are trimmed and he has settled in here, we will evaluate his level of training.

JUNE 2009  We had our farrier trim Batman's hooves and he behaved well.  He has gained quite a bit of weight and is even a little on the chubby side.  He seems to enjoy roaming the 50 acre pasture and just being a horse for now.  He is calm and friendly and once the weather cools and its no longer over 100 degrees, we will saddle him up and evaluate his riding abilities.

NOVEMBER 2009  Batman has been adopted!  He will be going to a great new home to be a trusty mount for some trail riding, but his main job is to be the best buddy of his new owner.
