MARCH 2011 Whisper was rescued from starvation by a concerned individual and after helping begin her recovery, her rescuers turned her over to us to continue her rehabilitation. Whisper is a gentle old gal and very sweet. She is eating very well and we have her on our tried and true senior feed, plus soaked beet pulp, and a digestive supplement. Although she has had her teeth floated, she still has issues with adequately chewing hay, so she is given soaked alfalfa hay cubes after her morning and evening meals.
